junni kokki-part 19- destinyDrums, war drums, huge and booming echoing across the landscape, their menacing rhythm alerting the woman on the wall to the presence of her enemy. Red hair danced on a stiff breeze as the Queen of Kei narrowed her eyes and looking into the wind, ignoring the sting of smoke as her enemies fires blinded her archers. The damn wind. If it did not change soon they would be overrun before they knew it.
The sun was obscured, the thigh grassfires turning it into a burning yellow orb that peered down through gauzy tendrils of smoke. The men on the walls coughed, faces covered with wet cloths to filter out the smoke but none game to leave thei

junni kokki-part 18-promisesCherry blossoms dropped their petals still, the weeks since their blooming passing slowly, the cobblestone walkways gathering the tiny drops of pink in nook and crannies that wafted their sweet odor to all that walked their ways. Short neatly trimmed grasses hugged the edges of the pathways, merging into lillies that spread across the surface of the small river running through the gardens center. A small pagoda branched across the water, a table for taking tea sitting bare, the cushions a jumble, one figure sitting amidst them, head turned down to look into the calm clear waters, goldfish lazily gliding by.

junni kikko part 17- invasionDusty earth cracked underfoot, hot sun burning down on a dry earth, dead trees the only scenery for miles around, as the long journey had proved. A few scavenger birds were soaring miles above, their forms like pinpoints of black against the azure sky devoid of clouds.
An old well, falling apart and barely functioning, one of the few left that still had water stood in the shade of a tiny disheveled old hut, wooden beams cracked and rotting. A child, a boy of about ten with a shock of black hair was dragging the bucket towards the hut, his tiny arms struggling with his load, the muddy water barely useable. As he neared the door, his hea

junni kokki-part 16 sleeperThe days passed slowly, the sun rising and setting as it always had, the ocean as calm as glass most days, the sea breeze clean and cool. The King of En remained in Suiko Palace despite his threats of mounting his armies against Kou, and the queen of Kei was a gracious hostess in thanks for his postponement of the war that would tear at her kingdoms heart.
The Kirin of En did not improve, his body becoming weaker and weaker with every passing day, Yoko's hopes of saving him fading as he did. She left the crystal of Suiguu with him when she could, but her council insisted she keep it with her most of the time, along with the sword's scabbar

Junni kokki-15-desire+deathThe room was brightly lit, the afternoon sun fading without, lamps already lit in anticipation of the evening within.
Suiko Palace was almost restored to it's former glory, some sections rebuilt, others demolished and replaced, but all of it whole once again. The gardens had been scrubbed clean several times and once again the Kirin of Kei was able to walk the flowered paths without feeling faint from the lingering scent of blood.
Rain had recently washed the cherry blossoms clean, their salmon pink petals once again pure, their gentle scent wafting into open windows, clearing out the musty odor of warm days.

lol I tried to find the flaw you were talking about in the first person's comment. I don't really see one. It's beautiful.

The only thing that would be considered a semi-flaw-ish thing was maybe the fact that his other arm isn't visible? XD
I don't know, I'm terrible at finding flaws. XD
Especially ones in such well-done drawings.
